In an attempt to save three Iranian young men from being executed, Iranians took to Twitter using the hashtag (#اعدام_نکنید: Persian for Do not execute), demanding authorities to stop carrying out the death penalty as soon as possible.
#StopExecutionsInIran and the #اعدام_نکنید have strengthened Iranian groupings as a whole which can alarm the IR regime that our unity will soon destroy its fake legitimacy and will free those brilliant thinkers in their prisons and will also free #Iran from their total rule. pic.twitter.com/fwTShgk7e5

In 2019, Iran witnessed several mass protests that took place for a few weeks more than once during the year. Protesters have been calling for better economic conditions in the country that suffers from international sanctions mostly from the US and European countries.
They also demanded better personal freedoms, especially as authorities continued to arrest hundreds of people with every wave of protest.

Last month, the three young men Saied Tamjidi, 28, Mohammad Rajabi, 26, and Amir Hossein Moradi, 26 were sentenced to death after being charged with "participating in vandalism and arson with the intent to confront and engage in war with the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Iranians' solidarity with the three protesters pushed them to start an online campaign, mostly by Iranians who live abroad, urging international organizations and governments to exert pressure on the Iranian government to stop carrying out the sentence.
Commentators also highlighted other "human rights violations committed by the Iranian regime" which they described as a "dictatorship that allows no critical voices."

Time is limited. Once again, the regime interrupted the internet, preventing users to voice their outrage related to the imminent execution of 3 Iranian protesters.
Last time during the net interruption, Basiji thugs killed >1500 Iranians.#اعدام_نکنید pic.twitter.com/EIpxkOO382
We, Iranians, have been buried alive since the rise of Mullahs in Iran by the Regime of Terror!
