ALBAWABA - The world is living in continuous fear waiting for the Iranian response to the assassination of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, which Israel is blamed for. Iran said that the killing of the Hamas chief will not pass easily and would take revenge at the right time.

A photo has reignited the discussion about a near Iranian attack against Israel on August 22. According to the claim, the picture contains a secret code by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Many claimed that the alleged secret code means that Iran has issued a "NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) for the eastern regions of Tehran in connection with planned rocket launches tomorrow," adding that the report was made by the "Iranian Observer" X account.

Iranian Observer, an unofficial news page on X, posted on Wednesday: "Iran has issued a warning for the east of the country, as missiles are to be fired by August 22."

Since July 31, the day Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated, rumors have been going on about an Iranian attack against Israel. However, the Iranian government didn't announce any date regarding the expected revenge.

Ismail Haniyeh's death:

Former head of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in the Iranian capital of Tehran while he was on a visit to attend the the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Hamas announced in a statement on July 31.

Hamas reported that the movement's leader was killed in a "treacherous raid by the Zionist on his residence in Tehran."

Iran and Hamas accused Israel of carrying out the strike that killed Haniyeh, the Israeli government did not claim responsibility and said it would make no comment on the killing.
