ALBAWABA - Sudan's Al Fashir City in North Darfur is facing a huge humanitarian catastrophe amid low media coverage, making the situation even worse. The Rapid Support Forces announced yesterday full control of the Sudanese city.

Sudan's paramilitary forces (RSF) said on Sunday that its militias have taken full control of Al Fashir after it was under siege for over 18 months. Al Fashir was the Sudanese Army's last stronghold in the Darfur region.

In the statement, the RSF claimed it had "extended control over the city of El-Fasher from the grip of mercenaries and militias," adding that it "liberated the Sixth Division, breaking the army's power."

Horrific videos emerge from Al Fashir city in the Darfur region:

Shocking footage and heartbreaking eyewitness stories continue to emerge on social media as people share horrible footage of RSF fighters shooting and killing unarmed civilians as they were trying to flee in Al Fashir city.

Yesterday, one video went viral showing paramilitary forces in their cars chasing and shooting several Sudanese.

Another clip also showed an RSF member inside a car, first he tried to run over a man and later on they killed him and took all his stuff.

Nonetheless, a video triggered anger online showing members of the Sudanese paramilitary catching five men who tried to smuggle food and aid inside Al Fashir and shooting them to death in a cold-blooded war crime.

A Sudanese freelance journalist posted the image of the RSF fighter, saying the man seen in the clip killing people for bringing aid is named "Issa Abu Lolo," adding that he is one of the leaders of the Rapid Support Forces.

The Sudan Doctors Network condemned the Sudanese RSF's actions, referring to them as "Ethnic cleansing".

In a post on the X platform, the network said, "In a heinous massacre committed by the RSF yesterday evening in El-Fasher – adding to their widespread crimes across El-Fasher and the Darfur region – the RSF killed unarmed civilians on ethnic grounds in what amounts to an act of ethnic cleansing."
