ALBAWABA - Former Sudanese member of parliament, Siham Hassan Husballah Ali, was killed at the hands of members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Al Fashir city, north Darfur, activists reported on social media.
Some media outlets said that RSF forces killed Siham Hassan, the youngest MP in the history of Sudan, on Sunday.
Several activists on the X platform highlighted that Siham Hassan was killed for running a community kitchen to feed the hungry and starving people in her hometown of Al Fashir city.
Who is Siham Hassan Husballah?
Siham Hassan Husballah, a Sudanese woman who was born in North Darfur. She graduated in 2006 from El Zalingei University, Faculty of Education (Physics Department).
Siham won the elections in 2016 to become the youngest parliamentarian, representing the Liberation and Justice Party.
The Sudanese politician expressed her regret that during her short term in office, she was unable to do much to improve the welfare of the Sudanese people, and she always called on her fellow parliamentarians to transcend partisan affiliations and adhere to the oath they took.
