ALBAWABA - Social media platforms were filled with the allegation that Hamas released a 17-page book on what really happened on October 7, 2023.
Investigative Journalist Sulaiman Ahmed was believed to be the first to report the news that the resistance group uncovered a book to detail everything that happened during the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation.
On Oct. 7, Al-Qassam Brigades announced the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation against Israel, which is the biggest offensive in decades. Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Over 25,000 were killed, and more than 60,000 others were injured in the continuous Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Hamas' book on what really happened on Oct. 7!
Sulaiman Ahmed posted on X (formerly Twitter) the title of the alleged new book released by Hamas, which reads according to the journalist "Our Narrative ... Operation Al-Aqsa Flood".
He also shared the introduction of the book: "In light of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and as our people continue their battle for independence, dignity and breaking-free from the longest-ever occupation during which they have drawn the finest displays of bravery and heroism in confronting the Israeli murder machine and aggression."
The introduction also continues: "We would like to clarify to our people and the free peoples of the world the reality of what happened on Oct. 7, the motives behind, its general context related to the Palestinian cause, as well as a refutation to the Israeli allegations and to put the facts into perspective."
Did Hamas really release a book on what happened on Oct. 7?
Despite that social media users and pro-Palestinian activists said that Hamas released a 17-page book clarifying the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and the motivation behind it, there is no official Hamas source or any confirmation that the resistance group has released or expected to release a book on what happened on Oct. 7.
