ALBAWABA - Elon Musk went viral across social media after promising to give $1 million to Americans who would sign a petition to encourage Republicans to vote in the upcoming presidential race on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
On Nov. 5, 2024, Donald Trump will go head to head against Kamal Harris for the next president of the United States of America.
Musk said, "I have a surprise for you, which is that we are going to be awarding a million dollars randomly to people who have signed the petition… every day from now until the election". Musk carried on with giving one random person at the Town Hall event $1 million.

The billionaire announced the news during an America PAC livestream while also taking to the stage in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in front of over 1,500 Pennsylvanians.
America PAC is a 'Super PAC' created by Tesla owner Elon Musk and backed by former US president and current candidate Donald Trump to support key values such as secure borders, safe cities, sensible spending, a fair justice system, free speech, and more, according to its official website.

According to The Guardian, the $1 million is not exclusive to Republicans since even Democrats who can register a vote in Pennsylvania could sign the petition as well. Musk is the sole donor to America PAC and is bound to pay $17 million if he continues with his promise.
Elon Musk donated over $75 million to America PAC in hopes of getting more Americans to vote for Donald Trump. The billionaire has shown clear endorsement of Trump through a series of posts on his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and after appearing in one of his campaigns wearing a 'Black MAGA' cap two weeks ago.
