ALBAWABA - With pictures circulating from Israeli media and the IOF showing late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's wife, Samar reportedly holding a $32,000 luxury bag in a tunnel in Gaza, many users on social media took to several platforms and debunked the claims in question.
Some claimed that the bag was a copy of the Hermes Birkin since uncanny ones to the original exist in the market. In contrast, others argued that it wasn't even a Hermes bag with one writing, "Her bag has two gold sergeant stripes on the bag handles".

Others said that comparing the two bags was a stretch because the pictures were not clear enough for a factual analysis.
Another added on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Of course, you are also pushing this BS. That bag isn’t worth more than $10. Any stylish New Yorker would be able to easily tell it’s not a bag worth $32,000," and "Why such petty and childish lies from an official government spokesman?"

When did Israel assassinate Hamas' Yahya Sinwar?

On Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, Israel announced the assassination of Hamas' Yahya Sinwar during an Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip. Sinwar was killed in an airstrike targeting the Jabaliya area and died along with other Hamas fighters.
An Israeli Defense Minister said, "We will reach every terrorist and eliminate him," after confirming his assassination.
