ALBAWABA - C Spire, an American privately owned telecommunications and technology company, has announced pulling out its advertising from the 2024 Paris Olympics over fuss on the mockery of "The Last Supper".

C Spie posted on X (formerly Twitter) expressing anger over the opening ceremony of the Olympics 2024 in France after many said that the drag queens, which showcased the vibrant and influential role of the LGBTQ+ community in France, presented show dragging criticism over a tableau reminiscent of Christian's "The Last Supper".

C Spie wrote: "We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics. C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics."

The celebration featured a reworking of the well-known picture "The Last Supper," which depicts Jesus Christ and his apostles, as a tribute to Paris's illustrious art scene.

Furthermore, not only C Spire but also Far-right French lawmaker Marion Maréchal and Tesla CEO Elon Musk decried the mockery of "The Last Supper" as many religious people on social media called to boycott the Olympics 2024 in Paris.

The organizers of the Olympics have not yet responded to the particular issues brought up by the criticism. As the Paris 2024 games continue, the occasion stays at the center of the conversation.
