ALBAWABA - Amid ongoing allegations and claims that have been resurfacing regarding the birth gender of the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, Brigitte Macron said she will reveal "scientific and photographic evidence" to a U.S. court to prove that she was born a woman.

A lawsuit was filed by the Macron family against American right-wing influencer Candace Owens, who promoted claims that Brigitte was born a man and that she underwent a transgender operation.

Tom Clare, the lawyer of the French president and his wife, revealed that Emmanuel and Brigitte are planning to submit evidence to support their defamation lawsuit against Candace Owens.

In a talk with the BBC, Tom Clare said that the president and his wife would be sharing photographs of Brigitte Macron pregnant and raising her children.

He added, "It is incredibly upsetting to think that you have to go and subject yourself, to put this type of proof forward."

In March 2024, President Macron spoke for the first time since the spread of the allegations questioning the birth gender of his wife. He denied conspiracy theories regarding Brigitte Macron, saying they are "false and fabricated."

Nonetheless, Brigitte's daughter, Tiphaine Auzaine, said, "I have concerns about the level of society when I hear what is circulating on social networks about my mother being a man," according to the New York Post.

Candace Owens' "Becoming Brigitte" show:

Candace Owens claimed earlier that Brigitte Macron was born a man and allegedly said she has proof that she will be sharing with people via her YouTube program, called "Becoming Brigitte".

Since early 2024, the right-wing commentator said she would "stake [her] entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man". In July 2025, Macron and his wife confirmed they filed a lawsuit against Owens for defamation.

During her "Becoming Brigitte" show, Owens appeared in one of the episodes along with French journalist Xavier Poussard, who allegedly showed in an interview with Candace Owens a new photo claiming it proves that Brigitte Macron was born a male and underwent transgender surgery.
