ALBAWABA - The Daily Wire commentator and media personality Ben Shapiro is under fire amid a negative comment he made about American activist and diarist Rachel Corrie calling her one of the "Great Idiots of History."
Rachel Corrie was among the activists who stood with the Palestinian people and their cause under the ongoing Israeli occupation of the land. She unfortunately passed away while non-violently protesting in 2003 in the Gaza Strip to protect a Palestinian family's house which resulted in an Israeli tank crushing her at the age of 23, as reported by Amnesty International USA.
Ben said in the post from 2011:
"Would love to write a book called "Great Idiots of History." Rachel would make the list."

Rachel went to Gaza as part of her college's senior-year independent study proposal in hopes of connecting Rafah and Olympia together. She later joined other activist groups to fight for the Palestinian households that were getting bombed by Israel.
People took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and voiced their opinions on the controversial figure with mostly negative comments calling what he said about the late activist "hateful" and "disgusting," here's what they had to say:

This hate train started after a screenshot from a 2011 post, Ben Shapiro shared on his official X account surfaced on the internet again in the form of a screenshot showing him mocking the activist.
