ALBAWABA - Banksy, a street artist and political activist, has once again become the center talk of many on the internet after the latest artwork he created featuring a mother and her baby, only a few days before Christmas.
The unknown artist Banksy drew a mother with one of her breasts out with a bullet bullet penetrated to it, while she is carrying her child.
Opinions split over the drawing with many saying since Christmas, in which Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, is near the woman in the artwork made by Banksy could represent the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus.
Meanwhile, others took to social media to link the picture with hurt mothers in Gaza amid over one year of war in which over 16,000 children were killed in continued Israeli attacks with no sign of hope of a ceasefire before the holiday.

A person wrote: "This is clearly about Palestine. Why? It is Christmas time and this is reminiscent of Mary and her newborn Jesus, Jesus was born in Betlehem, and there is a bullet in her chest representing the current war and its huge impact on children there."
Another commented: "Banksy’s latest work doesn’t need just one meaning. It can represent the struggles of mothers, the impact of war, or even the darker side of religion today. Everyone sees it through their own perspective, shaped by how they view the world. What matters most is that Banksy has once again turned our attention to where suffering exists, reminding us not to look away."
