ALBAWABA - The Israeli series, named "Tehran", has been trending on social media with allegations that it predicted the Pager attack by Mossad targeting Hezbollah.

The "Tehran" series season one is written by Zonder and Omri Shenhar and directed by Daniel Syrkin, the series premiered in Israel on 22 June 2020 and 25 September internationally on Apple TV+.

The three-season series talks about the story of Tamar, a Mossad hacker agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran's nuclear reactor; when her mission fails and she's trapped in a new life, Tamar must plan an operation that will place her loved ones in jeopardy.

In the series, Mossad assassinated a major Iranian commander using a cyberattack in which the Iranian general receives a phone call and when he answers, the phone explodes leading to his death.

Many reshared the clip from the Israeli series and claimed that it is either one of two options, the series already knew about the pager attack in Lebanon or that the "Tehran" series predicted upcoming events.

According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, the pager attack which took place on Sept. 17 and 18 leading to the explosion of pager and wireless devices, commonly used by Hezbollah members, killed at least 45 and left more than 3,000 injured.
