ALBAWABA - Videos circulated on social media showing people clashing in Lebanon with some being seen with blood on their heads.
According to activists, pro-LGBTQ+ protesters have taken to the streets of Beirut to criticize shrinking freedoms in Lebanon.
Furthermore, advocates continued to say that pro-LGBTQ+ demonstrators have clashed with people who are anti-homosexuality leading to the injury of several people.
A video was posted online showing a man with his head and hands full of blood due to the clash between pro and anti-LGBTQ+.
In the same video, the man, who was covered with blood was seen scaping the scene while cameras were trying to follow him, when a masked man tried to re-attack him but was stopped by another person.
Social media reactions split on the pro-LGBTQ+ protests in Lebanon as some defended the demonstration saying that Lebanon which was known for being the top country when it comes to human rights and freedom is now heading to a darker spot in its new rules against the LGBTQ+ community.
A person commented: "I’m lucky that I live in Poland, not in Lebanon."
Another slammed clashes between pro and anti-LGBTQ+ protesters saying: "Violence is never the answer."
