ALBAWABA - Algerian athlete Imane Khelif went through a huge bullying campaign after she was allegedly accused of being "transgender and a man," after her game in which she beat an Italian athlete.
Khelif went viral on social media after winning her opening against Italy's Angela Carini, who stopped fighting after 46 seconds but she was bullied and accused of being a man in the worst bullying the Paris Olympics has witnessed in 2024.
Despite bullying, many Arab and international human rights activists and fans supported Imane Khelif and endorsed her.

Israeli newspaper bullies Saudi athlete Dunya Aboutaleb 'who dressed like a boy'
After the story of Imane, Saudi athlete Dunya Aboutaleb is facing the same attacks after Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also bullied her following her victory over an Israeli taekwondo competitor Avishag Semberg.
Dunya Aboutaleb has made it to the semi-finals in Taekwondo competitions (-49 kg) at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Yedioth Ahronoth posted news about the loss of the Israeli athlete but described the Saudi athlete as "dressing like a boy". The title reads: "Saudi fighter who dressed like a boy and made history defeats Israel's Avishag Semberg."
Despite Yedioth Ahronoth's title, the Saudi Taekwondo fighter has gained wide support from the people of the Arab world as they praised her for her victory and they prayed she'll get a gold medal and compete in the finals.
