ALBAWABA - Sama, a 3-year-old Egyptian girl who was raped multiple times by her alleged father and grandfather, and tortured until her death, Egyptian media reported.
Last week in Menoufia Governorate, an elderly man carrying the body of his granddaughter [Sama, 3 years old] went to a cemetery worker and asked him to bury the little child.
The grandfather claimed the girl had fallen down the stairs and that she was born out of wedlock, so she didn't have a birth certificate. Therefore, he wanted her buried without a burial permit.
The worker doubted the grandfather's story and refused to bury Sama. He then notified the police, who went and examined the body.
The girl's body was covered in burns, signs of torture, and bruises. Part of this was due to her stepmother pouring boiling water on her because of her frequent urination.
The forensic report and investigations proved that both the grandfather and the father were sexually abusing the child, and that she was subjected to rape by her father and grandfather.

In addition, investigations revealed that the little girl was also subjected to burning and torture at the hands of her stepmother until she died.
The police were able to detain the three accused and take the necessary legal measures against them.
However, investigations proved that the little girl was not the biological daughter of the father accused of covering up the crime after his wife assaulted her until her death, which adds a new dimension to the investigations being conducted by the Public Prosecution to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
