“Allahu Akbar.. We Killed Him”: Mysterious Iranian Post Sparks Global Speculation — Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir in the Spotlight

ALBAWABA - On social media, a mysterious post made by the official "Iran in Arabic" accounts on Facebook and X has sparked a lot of conjecture.  The statement was sent in the early hours of Monday in response to Iran's missile strikes on Tel Aviv, but it did not identify the target. It simply said, "Allahu Akbar.. We killed him."

Thousands of users questioned whether the tweet was a reference to a high-profile assassination, sparking a flurry of replies.  Given their involvement in the ongoing battle in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir soon came under scrutiny.

Many users believed the mysterious remark was a reference to Ben-Gvir, who is known for his radical language and incitement to escalate the conflict, or Netanyahu, whom they called a "war criminal."

During a severe information blackout enforced by Israeli authorities, a security source apparently told "Iran in Arabic" that a senior Israeli security figure had been slain in southern Israel, while the message remained purposefully ambiguous.

As the globe waits for official confirmation or denial, dozens of amusing and speculative comments swamped the initial article, with people confessing that the suspense was "killing them."
