The US special envoys to the Middle East William Burns and retired general Anthony Zinni discussed on Saturday with the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak the deteriorating situations in the occupied territories.
The meeting which was attended by the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher and the US ambassador in Cairo David Walsh came in light of the efforts exerted to contain the grave situations in the occupied Palestinian lands as a result of the escalating Israeli military aggressions on the Palestinian people.
