Zied Gharsa gave his first solo concert on Tuesday August 2 in the Roman Theatre of Carthage. <i>La Presse</i> reports that Gharsa had a rich repertoire, in which he combined the old and the new musical tradition. Apart from singing, Gharsa also played the musical piece titled "Dizz jewabin he jerba" to pay homage to Ridha Kalal Zied. Gharsa finished his concert with a song accompanied by famous Algerian singer Slim Ferjani. About Zied Gharsa, Mohamed Laziz Ben Achour, Minister for the Culture and the Safeguard of the Inheritance said, "With his talent and his knowledge of our music tradition, Zied Gharsa does not only protect our musical inheritance, but also renovates and enriches it".
