ALBAWABA- At least eight Palestinians, including three children, were killed in Israeli attacks across several areas of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to medical sources at hospitals in Gaza.
Gaza's ambulance and emergency services also reported one additional fatality and several injuries after an Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle west of Gaza City.
The latest casualties come amid continued Israeli military operations and ongoing restrictions on humanitarian aid entering the enclave, despite a recent political development in which Hamas transferred Gaza's civil administration to a technocratic committee under a ceasefire agreement.
Palestinian officials said the continued Israeli strikes and restrictions on aid deliveries violate the fragile ceasefire, accusing Israel of undermining efforts to stabilize the territory. Israeli forces have continued airstrikes and ground operations in multiple areas of Gaza, while limited humanitarian access has further aggravated the humanitarian crisis.
The newly appointed technocratic committee is expected to oversee civilian administration, support essential public services, and help lay the groundwork for post-war reconstruction. However, the continued violence and constraints on aid have cast doubt on the implementation and sustainability of the ceasefire.
Health officials in Gaza warned that civilians, particularly children, remain at grave risk as military operations continue. International mediators are reportedly engaged in efforts to preserve the ceasefire and encourage both sides to comply with its terms.
