The Presidential Cultural Complex of Beja has organized the first conference for Young Tunisian writers. The conference, which took place between February 25 and 26, was held in honor of the famous Tunisian writer and thinker Mahmour Messaadi.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that among the poets that participated in the conference were the famed writer Youssef R’zouga, winner of the Grand Price of the Jordanian King Abdullah II, and the renowned Abderrahmene Kablouti, author of numerous novels and poems both in French and in Arabic.
During the conference awards were given to Amine Damma in the poetry category, to Hafiza Tlili and Hager Krouna in the short story category and to Nagette Ghanemi et Hadia Omrani in the criticism category.
