Yemen's Shiite fighters released image showing they have seized military tanks and weapons from the government forces. Earlier, the army claimed it had inflicted heavy losses on the Shite rebels in the northern province of Saada.
The Houthi fighters dismissed the army's claim and said they blocked Yemeni forces from advancing in several districts. On Saturday, a Yemeni official military source said that its forces and security units hit several targets of al-Houthi rebels and destroyed a number of vehicles carrying weapons.
The air forces also attacked several groups of rebels in Azain, al-Emarh and Aselah areas.
