Landslides in Yemen have demolished a small village near the capital Sanaa, killing at least 30 people, including women and children with dozens more missing, officials said Thursday.
According to Reuters, a Yemeni official said rocks had went down from a mountain late Wednesday and collapsed into the al-Dhofair village -- about 20 km southwest of Sanaa -- destroying its 27 houses.
Police were searching for survivors. Saba new agency said dozens of people were wounded.
