Two senior Iranian officials have been sentenced to two years in prison each for "illegally having ordered the destruction" of an industrial firm, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA), quoting a press report.
The daily Entekhab said two officials working at Tehran municipality had received the jail terms after a complaint was launched by the manager of the East Machinery Company, whose company was reportedly razed at the order of the two officials.
