A 40-year-old mother stabbed her three children and slit her own wrists on Christmas Day at Changi Airport in Singapore, police said.
The children -- two sons and a daughter aged between three and 10 -- were in a stable condition in hospital after they were attacked in the cargo office at the airport, police said.
The woman has been arrested and will be charged in court, police spokesman Philip Mah told AFP.
Police were continuing with their investigations, he said, offering no explanation for the mother's behavior.
The woman would be charged for three counts of attempted murder and one count of attempted suicide, police said.
"She is going to be charged in hospital this afternoon," said Assistant Superintendent Chua Chee Wai.
A motive for the act has not been established, said Chua.
Under Singapore law, a person can be jailed for up to 10 years for attempted murder and one year for attempted suicide -- SINGAPORE (AFP)
