wi-tribe Jordan, the simplest wireless broadband service provider amid breaking free of fixed line access with the unmatched wireless technology, acquired the main sponsorship for the 3rd annual Spring Family Running Competition. This event was held on Friday 24th of April 2009, in Dunes Club Amman.
wi-tribe Jordan’s first-year sponsor of this well anticipated marathon contest gathered energetic athletes, from 9:00am at Dunes club, to celebrate the Third Annual Spring Family Running Competition. This 5 km race started at 10:00am implicating the contribution of 700 participants, ranging between the ages of young babies to over 50 year old candidates. This event engaged a variety of contestants assembled from dunes club members, private schools, university students and moreover involved their families. To start the race, branded wi-tribe t-shirts were distributed, among all runners, along with branded water bottles were provided, every 2.5 km, throughout the competition. At the end of the race, wrapping up the results, wi-tribe proceeded by allocating special branded medals to honor different and unique categories. Awarded runners were clustered into different distinctive groups; youngest, oldest, heaviest, family with largest number of participants and schools with largest number of participants. Wi-tribe Jordan provided the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners with commemorative endowments and granted them the grand prize of free wi-tribe internet connection.
