Abu Dhabi, 10 Ramadan 1427 A.H. (October 2, 2006) –This year, Internet users are tuning into the Dubai International Holy Quran Awards (DIHQA) by visiting Weyak’s Ramdaniyaat channel, http://ramadan.weyak.ae. Weyak is the web-caster of this annual event and the entire competition is being broadcast from the Ramdaniyaat channel in real time. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Awards, which are held under the patronage of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This prestigious event ends on day 20.

Ultimately, the Award endeavours to be a leading and outstanding international forum promoting scholarship and honouring all those who work in this field.
