The objectives of the DIHQA include providing motivation to young Muslims to abide by the teachings of Islam and to recognize their duties towards their faith and Islamic mission. This is achieved through hosting a competition in the field of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran and through honouring personalities or institutions that have provided outstanding services to Islam and Muslims. Ultimately, the Award endeavours to be a leading and outstanding international forum promoting scholarship and honouring all those who work in this field.

“We welcome etisalat’s participation in this year’s award ceremony. Weyak and its Ramdaniyaat channel will bring our event to a global audience providing inspiration and knowledge to all Muslims. We thank the team at Weyak for their support of our event and look forward to a successful competition,” said Ahmed Al Zahed, Member of the Organizing Committee and Head of Media Unit for DIHQA.
