ALBAWABA - One of Hezbollah's fighters was killed during fighting with Israeli troops in southern Lebanon, the organization announced. The late Abbas Manif Attoui, also referred to as Jihad, was from the southern Lebanese village of Shqura.

The National News Agency of Lebanon reports that Israeli planes attacked the Al-Dayer neighborhood in the Marjayoun district between Meiss Al-Jabal and Houla. One person was injured and was taken to a hospital right away by civil defense forces.

According to reports, three rockets hit a private home and a store in Houla, while Israeli artillery targeted the area around a mosque in Al-Adaisseh.

According to Aljazeera, The Israeli military saw armed people entering the building and said it had destroyed a Hezbollah military facility near Houla. Fighter planes were sent in to attack this and another military facility in the area.

Moreover, Israeli artillery employed incendiary bombs close to Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon and fired shells on Al-Adaisseh.

For its part, Hezbollah claimed credit for utilizing appropriate weapons to target Israeli espionage equipment at the Maskef Aam military location near the southern Lebanese border, resulting in a direct strike.

According to Israeli officials, two anti-tank missiles fired from Lebanon touched down in the Masgav region without doing any harm. They retaliated by firing artillery at the targets of their assaults.

According to earlier reports from Israeli media, three anti-tank missiles were fired into the Finger of Galilee region close to the Lebanon border. Of these, two fell in Masgav without injuring anybody, while one struck Tel Hai.

Hezbollah said that it has attacked eight Israeli locations in Shebaa Farms and Galilee.

Concerns about a possible protracted war have recently grown as a result of the escalating hostilities between Tel Aviv and Hezbollah, particularly in light of the Israeli military's approval of operational plans for massive attacks on Lebanon just a week ago.
