The president of Wydad Athletic Club (WAC), football club, Abdelilah Menjra, decided to resign of all his functions. Menjra, who has served as the head of WAC since 2003, said that the reasons behind his decision are "familial and personal". <i>EMarrakech</i> reports that in an official statement Menjra said that "although everything is not perfect, he still feels that he has achieved his duty in the club' and wished 'good luck to whoever will replace him."
The resignation of Menjra will be submitted to the general assembly of the club which will convene on Saturday in Casablanca.
