Effective as of Saturday, British nationals coming to the Kingdom of Bahrain will be able to get their three-month entry visas upon arrival at the airport, an official statement said.

The visas can be extended for another three months, said the statement issued by the Immigration and Passports Directorate, adding that British citizens can also obtain six-month entry visas for a fee of 10 dinars (around £17) from the Bahrain Embassy in the British capital, Gulf News reported.

"The new facilities, which follow directives from His Majesty, the King of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, are intended to encourage British businessmen, investors and tourists to visit Bahrain." (Albawaba.com)
