U.S. airstrike kills senior ISIS leader Al-Janabi in Syria

ALBAWABA- The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that a recent airstrike in Syria resulted in the death of Usamah Jamal Muhammad Ibrahim al-Janabi, a senior ISIS leader and facilitator. 

This operation, conducted on June 16, is expected to significantly disrupt ISIS’s ability to provide resources and carry out terror attacks.

According to CENTCOM, there are no indications that any civilians were harmed during the airstrike. 

The statement emphasized that the elimination of al-Janabi will hinder ISIS’s operational capabilities.

 CENTCOM reaffirmed its commitment to working with regional allies and partners to degrade ISIS and ensure its enduring defeat.
