Former President Hosni Mubarak will not be released from the military hospital where he is being detained, according to a report by the AFP.

He will only be released under the orders of the prosecution or the court that will retry him.

Mubarak is being held in a military hospital due to his poor health.

Mubarak's 3-year sentence for embezzlement was overturned earlier today by a lower Cairo court. He stands accused of embezzling upwards of $14 million budgeted for the maintenance of the presidential palaces.
