An explosion in a police compound in the city of Diyarbakir in Turkey’s largely Kurdish southest has left one person dead and wounded several others.
Authorities appear to have ruled out any criminal activity.
The blast, which blew off the roof of the police compound, happened when an armored vehicle was being repaired.
Diyarbakir is where the Kurdish PKK have fought an insurgency for Kurdish autonomy for more than three decades.
