ALBAWABA- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees has issued a warning that it will cease its operations in Gaza by Wednesday unless it receives a supply of fuel.
This urgent notice follows the Palestinian Ministry of Health's announcement regarding the overwhelming situation in Gaza, where medical care has reached its breaking point due to an unprecedented surge in casualties.
Many hospitals in Gaza have been forced to shut down, either as a result of Israeli airstrikes or due to a lack of essential supplies caused by the Israeli-imposed blockade.
Furthermore, numerous medical teams have lost their lives as they became direct targets of Israeli attacks. In the last 18 days, over 31 UNRWA workers have also been killed in a brutal Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
The situation in Gaza has reached a critical juncture, with severe consequences for the civilian population, especially in terms of access to healthcare and humanitarian assistance.
