ALBAWABA- Amid the ongoing turmoil and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir has taken a concerning step by overseeing the distribution of weapons to Israeli settlers.
This initiative has raised serious concerns about a potential escalation in the conflict and the risk of violence targeting Arab inhabitants residing in areas under the jurisdiction of Israeli occupation forces.
Itamar Ben Gvir, a controversial ultra-nationalist figure known for his extremist views, has previously been involved in contentious actions, including storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque with large groups of radical Israeli settlers.
His provocative and inflammatory statements against Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims in general have only added to the tensions in the region.
