UNFPA envoy in Iran stresses importance of equality

Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Iran, Mohamed Saeid Abdel-Ahad in his statement issued Monday on the occasion of the World Population Day stressed the importance of equality as a human right. "Equality is a human right which emanates from the basic principles of dignity of all human beings and their universal quest for freedom and prosperity," the statement said, according to <i>IRNA</I>.
