ALBAWABA- The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Occupied Palestine has called for decisive international measures to end the genocide occurring in Gaza.
The UNFPA has raised alarms about the deteriorating healthcare situation in Gaza, stating that hospitals are out of service due to staff arrests and the confiscation of essential medical equipment.
They report an alarming increase in maternal mortality, with women dying during or after childbirth and many giving birth without adequate care.
Approximately 4,000 pregnant women in northern Gaza are struggling to access medical assistance, as the last neonatal intensive care unit in the area has shut down.
The UN Special Rapporteur emphasized that the comprehensive destruction of Gaza continues unabated, and the violence following October 7 is part of a systematic plan for forced displacement, expanding from Palestine into Lebanon.
They insist that immediate international intervention is necessary to prevent further humanitarian catastrophe.
Today alone, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in 90 fatalities in the Gaza Strip, including 75 in the northern regions.
Reports indicate that four martyrs were killed and several others injured in an Israeli attack on a house near Al-Shanti land, northwest of Gaza City.
Additionally, airstrikes in the middle of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza resulted in injuries, while another bombing targeting two houses north of the camp claimed the lives of nine individuals, with several others reported missing.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has confirmed four more deaths in Tulkarm during a military operation in the Nour Shams camp, east of the city.
