ALBAWABA- In a joint statement issued by multiple UN agencies, a grim picture of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip has been painted. 

Since October 7, dozens of relief workers, including a staggering 88 UNRWA employees, have tragically lost their lives amidst the relentless conflict in the region.

The UNHCR further revealed that healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip have come under relentless attacks, with over 100 incidents reported. 

These relentless assaults on critical medical infrastructure have resulted in severe challenges to providing essential healthcare to the affected population.

Moreover, the UNHCR stressed that an entire population in the Gaza Strip remains exposed to relentless attacks, leaving them deprived of basic necessities essential for survival. 

The dire situation in the region continues to escalate, with mounting concerns for the safety and well-being of civilians caught in the crossfire.
