Turkish police in the Aegean resort town of Marmaris were investigating the suspicious death Friday of a British woman, Anatolia news agency reported.
Sandra Paulina Bowley, 40, was found dead in her hotel room and a forensic examination was under way to determine the exact cause of the death, the agency said.
Prosecutors launched a probe into the case after neighbors said that they heard screams from Bowley's room before her body was found.
She was living with a Turkish boyfriend, Anatolia said -- ANKARA (AFP)
