A gunman has shot at the mayor of Gursu district in the western province of Bursa in Turkey, police said.
Police said a gunman attacked Cuneyt Yildiz, the mayor of Gursu district, in the western province of Bursa for an unknown reason.
Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu said the mayor was in critical condition at Sevket Yilmaz State Hospital in Bursa.
"The mayor was attacked and I wish him a speedy recovery," said Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu in Bursa, confirming the incident.
