Reuters reports that the US is working with Turkey to entirely close Syrian's northern border.

The Turkish-Syrian border has seen mutiple clashes with Daesh militants. On Saturday, four Daesh members tried to run a checkpoint in  southeastern Turkey, and were killed by Turkish border polce.

In July, there were reports of Daesh digging trenches, and potentially tunnels, close to the border.

"The entire border of northern Syria - 75 percent of it has now been shut off. And we are entering an operation with the Turks to shut off the other remaining 98 kilometers," said US Secretary of State John Kerry, in an interview with CNN.
