Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received an invitation from President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia to attend the Arab summit scheduled to be held in Tunisia during March 29th and 30th.
According to ONA, the invitation was received on behalf of the Omani leader by Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq al-Said, Representative of the Sultan, when he received in his office Dr. Abdul Baqi al Hermasi, special envoy of the Tunisian President.
The meeting was attended by Saif bin Mohammed al Abri, secretary-general of the office of the Representative of the Sultan and the Tunisian ambassador to the Sultanate.
