Tunisian Health Minister Dr. al-Habieb Mubarak and his accompanying delegation arrived at the Saddam International Airport for a several-day visit to Iraq.

In statement to the Iraqi News Agency INA, Dr. Habieb Mubarak termed Iraq’s decision to halt oil exportation a practical procedure to support Palestinian steadfastness in confronting the Zionist arrogance.

In addition, he said that this procedure is against the unjust, barbarian Zionist aggression and genocide in Palestine, an issue, which, according to him, required practical procedures to express rejection to this aggression and support of the Palestinians.

He added that his visit aimed at advancing relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the health and pharmaceutical fields in addition to the participation in the proceedings of the Tunisian-Iraqi medical-pharmaceutical week due to begin Thursday, in which many Tunisian pharmaceutical companies are scheduled to take part in.

Moreover, he renewed Tunisia’s solidarity with the Iraqi people in facing up to the unjust sanctions on the country, INA said.

On his part, Iraqi Minister of Health Dr. Omeed Midhat Mubarak and Tunisian ambassador to Baghdad received the Tunisian Minister and the 30-member delegation. (Albawaba.com)
