On the occasion of the Tunisia’s National Dress and Traditional Crafts Day, President Zein Al Abideen Ben Ali awarded Ahmad Al Sharif, a craftsman from the Tunisian town of Jibbeh, with the president’s prize for encouraging traditional and technical crafts for the year 2000.
Ben Ali expressed his appreciation for efforts made by the prize winner who has been in the profession for the past 50 years during which he made every effort to perfectly produce local traditional crafts.
