ALBAWABA - The Washington Post shared an exclusive report regarding the plan for rebuilding the Gaza Strip, which is being observed and outlined by the Trump administration.

The new plan is based on U.S. President Donald Trump's vision to "take control" of the Gaza Strip and turn it into a safety zone administered by Washington for at least ten years.

The Washington Post also revealed that during this period, Gaza will be turned to become a major tourist resort and a center for high-tech and industrial production.

On the other hand, the plan includes the evacuation of all of Gaza's residents—more than two million people— through "voluntary departure" to another country or to closed, secure compounds inside the strip. The American newspaper also detailed that Trump's plan says that each departing Palestinian would get $5,000, four years of rent abroad, and one year of food aid.

The plan's calculations indicate a nearly fourfold return on a $100 billion investment over ten years. Parts of the proposal were first published in the Financial Times, and previously, the "Gaza 2035" plan, unveiled on Ynet, presents a similar utopian vision.
