ALBAWABA - In the current Republican Party presidential primary contest, Michigan, Idaho, and Missouri primary elections have seen notable victories for former US President Donald Trump.
Reliable sources claim that Trump has increased his lead over the only other contender in the party, former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley.
Trump received an overwhelming 68% of Republican voters' support in Michigan's primary elections, while Haley received only 27%.
In a similar vein, Trump continued to lead Haley in Idaho, receiving 85% of the vote to her 13%.
According to ABC News reports, Trump further cemented his lead in the nomination contest by winning all 54 delegates at the party caucus in Missouri.
The ultimate distribution of Missouri's 54 delegates will be decided upon on May 4th during the Republican National Convention.
Trump has gained 244 delegates—out of the 1215 required for the Republican presidential nomination—with these most recent victory. Haley, on the other hand, currently has 24 delegates.
It is expected that the approaching "Super Tuesday" primaries in 16 states on March 5th will provide more light on the positions of the presidential contenders, making this a critical point in the contest.
