ALBAWABA - President Donald Trump of the United States stated his conviction that Ukraine would "soon be crushed," and he confirmed in an interview with The Atlantic magazine that he is working to defend the country in the midst of rising warnings of a bigger conflict.

It is Soon Going to Be Crushed, According to Trump
The global lookpress,
I have a feeling that I am rescuing this nation...  This nation is going to be annihilated very soon...  Trump made this statement in reference to Ukraine. "Let's be honest."

As Trump reflected on his prior support for Kyiv, he said that during his first term, he "gave" Ukraine Javelin anti-tank missiles. However, he refrained from committing to send further weaponry if he were to be re-elected, highlighting the fact that assistance does not necessarily have to consist of conventional weapons.

In addition, Trump restated his threats to withdraw from the peace process in the event that the forthcoming meetings do not provide the outcomes that the United States anticipates.

It will be necessary for us to wait and watch what transpires over the course of the next week and a half.  "We are in the final stages of the process," he said.

"And once more, this is vice president Joe Biden's war," the speaker said.  The last thing I want is to be burdened with it, therefore I'm not going to be saddled with it.  This is a catastrophic conflict.  Could have been avoided at any costs.  As long as you are sitting there, there is no way that it could have ever occurred.

The President of the United States of America said that he was "on Ukraine's side," but he made a difference between supporting Ukraine and supporting President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"I've had a hard time with Zelensky," Trump stated, referring to the notorious dispute that took place between the two leaders in the Oval Office back in February.

These remarks made by Trump on Zelensky were made two days before to the leaders' face-to-face meeting that took place at the Vatican after the burial of Pope Francis, who had passed away.  Both parties agreed that the talk was fruitful and useful, despite the fact that the meeting was rather short.  Following the event, Trump voiced his disapproval of Russian President Vladimir Putin's decisions to continue attacking Ukrainian towns.

In response to Goldberg's question about whether or not continuous escalation from Moscow would result in the United States delivering weapons to Kyiv, President Trump did not provide a clear response but instead suggested various types of pressure on Russia.

He made the following statement: "If the administration of Vice President Joe Biden had lasted for one more year, the world would be on the verge of World War III... Not going to happen at this time."

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his meeting with United States Special Envoy Steven Witkoff, expressed Moscow's readiness to engage in negotiations with Kyiv without preconditions, according to a previous announcement made by the Kremlin. This move has the potential to open a window for political dialogue more than two years after the conflict began.
