ALBAWABA- Congo's President Félix Tshisekedi announced that over 80 travelers have died after a boat capsized on the Kwa River near the capital, Kinshasa.

 The incident occurred late Monday in Maï-Ndombe province. 

The locally made boat was carrying more than 100 passengers when it capsized, adding to the growing number of deadly boat accidents in the central African country, often attributed to overloading.
