An Israeli helicopter fired a missile Monday afternoon toward a car carrying at least three Palestinian activists,, Palestinian sources said.
The incident took place in the West Bank town of Jenin. The three were killed instantly. They were identified as senior members of Fatah's Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. One of the dead was Mahmoud Abu Halifa, the deputy of Zakaria a Zubaidy the head of Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in Jenin.
A similar attempt to assassinate Abu Halifa took place in the city two weeks ago, but then the Israeli missiles missed his car. (albawaba.com)
