Three Israeli soldiers and a female Jewish settler were wounded overnight in the West Bank in an exchange of fire with armed Palestinians, reported Haaretz newspaper.
The soldiers were injured in the West Bank when their car was fired on by Palestinians near the settlement of Hermesh, said the daily.
Other Israeli cars were shot at near the same settlement.
Shots were also fired at Israeli buses near the Kiryat Arba Jewish settlement in Hebron.
The woman, said the paper, was shot and seriously injured when Palestinian gunmen in Beit Jala town opened fire on the Gilo Jewish settlement, Israel radio reported.
The report added that the settler was injured when she peeked out the window of her apartment just after the shooting began, said the report.
Earlier Monday, an explosive device was activated near the settlement of Otniel in Gaza. No injuries were reported, according to the paper.
Shots were also fired at Gush Katif junction, the Martyrs Junction, in the village of Sinjal near Ofra, at Beit Hagai and an Israeli army post near Rafah.
