Three individuals who pledged allegiance to the militant organization Daesh were arrested, Sunday. The three were picked up in Remada, southern Tunisia, according to a security source.
All three were trained as electronic and mechanical engineers. Two of them are jobless, a pervasive problem in Tunisia that lead to protests around the Kessarine area. The third person holds a “sensitive post,” the same military source specified without giving further details.
According to the Tunisian source, these individuals are suspected of having participated in the March 7th attack in Ben Guerdane that left dozens killed.
